Jim Lemon graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Arizona, California, Colorado and Nevada. He is a Registered Land Surveyor in Arizona.
Mr. Lemon is an experienced civil engineering and survey professional with over 40 years of a diverse background in corporate management and civil engineering project overview. Mr. Lemon was the founder and President of Landmark Engineering, Inc. from 1992 until selling to V3 Companies in 2006. As President of Landmark, Mr. Lemon oversaw the daily operations to meet client’s needs with civil engineering, land surveying, land planning and water resources services while growing the company to over 100 employees in three regional offices. As President of V3 Companies of Arizona, Ltd., Mr. Lemon oversaw the integration of the firm he founded into a new organizational structure.
Mr. Lemon’s technical and professional strengths include communication and liaising effectively with colleagues, architects, subcontractors, contracting civil engineers, consultants, co-workers and clients. He is able to undertake technical and feasibility studies and site investigations while evaluating and resolving project liability issues. He is also able to think both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems, identifying any project deficiencies that affect production and quality requirements. As a former business owner, Mr. Lemon also excels at overseeing the work of junior and senior staff and mentoring civil engineers. He has led project teams, including professionals from numerous firms and agencies and has attended public meetings to present projects.
